AAR Manifold Average Flow: 217.35CFM It is clear by the charts that the MS Manifolds are superior in terms of equality of flow from one runner to the next as well as total combined flow and average flow.
I think the average adds value to this exercise and the consistency is ideal. However I think the total number is not the same as testing the flow of the entire side. The manifold runners can not be added up to a total like degrees of a triangle ( agree / disagree ?). Technically what you said in a previous post is true. on a stock head AAE seems to have higher CFM values. However, I agree that most of these Z's that have upgraded manifolds will have head / port work. A comparison of runners 1/3 combined or 2/4 combined from one manifold to another is the most significant. Am I offbase here in my thoughts ?
